Human beings suffer. There’s no getting past it. It’s part of the human condition. People suffer from all sorts of things — from self-doubt, from job stress, self-hatred, depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness, purposefulness, and existential angst. Thousands of people suffer from all kinds of addictions, especially from the shame of sex and porn addiction. Couples suffer when the person they look to for acceptance and closeness becomes a source of pain and rejection. Have you suffered enough? My goal is to guide you from suffering and discontent to serenity. It’s possible to have a sense of well-being no matter what your life situation is.
How do I do this? I have a lot of arrows in my quill. Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, hypnotherapy and couples sexual counseling. I have 30 years of experience working with chemical dependency, food, and sex/porn addiction. I’m a certified alcoholism counselor (CAC).
Although my speciality is addictions, I work with broad range of people. I’m experienced in couples counseling, especially couples who have sexual problems. I’m a published author on addiction and have been interviewed by CNN, 20/20, Anderson 360 and HBO. I have been a practicing Buddhist for 30 years.
